30 years of flying Burgundy
Headed by Bruno, Beaune-Montgolfière has surrounded itself with enthusiasts eager to share their love of ballooning and the Burgundy-Franche-Comté region. After obtaining his airplane pilot’s license in 1978, Bruno discovered ballooning in 1991 and became a hot-air balloon pilot in 1993.
He has logged over 3100 hours of flights, including 2900 hours in hot-air balloons, and to date has carried over 15,000 passengers, enabling them to discover the jewels of Burgundy-Franche-Comté, notably over the Hospices de Beaune or the Château du Clos de Vougeot.
Passionate about his region, he has rallied the entire Beaune-Montgolfière team around him to actively support the application of the CLIMATS du vignoble de Bourgogne-Franche-Comté to the UNESCO World Heritage List, in the exercise of his passion.
